About

Albuquerque-based artist and designer, Thomas Tomlinson has been exploring colors and layering in his work for over a quarter century.  From architectural design to paint on canvas to large scale public steel sculptures, Tomlinson plays with the dynamics of 2d and 3d space through color fields, natural geometries, forms, and graphic elements. Subjects range from southwest flora and fauna to multi-cultural expressions.

Tomlinson holds a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art and a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. His design practice creates works for public arts projects, museum exhibitions and private art commissions.
